The All Ireland Society for Higher Education’s journal has been launched. This contains a short paper by me based on the 20-line checklist I’ve been using at workshops this spring and summer. The link is http://ojs.aishe.org/index.php/aishe-j/issue/view/1
I’ve added to my website (and workshop prospectus) a new page giving details of a full-day masterclass which I’ve put together over the last month, bringing together the workshop elements which I believe have most impact on teaching in universities and colleges. This programme combines key elements on learning, assessment, feedback, and problem-solving. This masterclass is designed for staff who already have experience teaching in universities or colleges, but also works for a mixed-experience group containing some colleagues new to teaching at this level.
