A long time ago, I was a research electrochemist, studying for my PhD and as a post-doc, with my supervisor Ron Armstrong and the Prof – (the late) Reg Thirsk. The papers we produced can still be found by ‘Google Scholar’, and the titles are listed below – my full name is still ‘W P Race’ but for the last 40 years the ‘W’ has been lost.
From 2011 onwards, it has been great after many years to catch up with Ron Armstrong and his wife Liz, and we talk now about everything but interfacial electrochemistry!
