(Postscript: sorry not to stay till the very end of the Symposium, but I got to the Sage, Gateshead in good time for the concert of Mozart’s 3rd Violin Concerto played to perfection by Thomas Zehetmair, who then conducted an exceptional performance of Bruckner’s 6th Symphony, all broadcast on Radio 3 – use BBC Sounds to catch up if you wish).

ANTF Writing Retreat: Cumberland Lodge: 17-18th January 2018
Sally and I had a great time working with a group of colleagues at the magnificent venue of Cumberland Lodge on 17th-18th January, on various writing projects they were involved in. We ran various sessions (we did not charge for these), but the main point was allowing colleagues to get on with their writing – and the feedback shows that they did indeed succeed with this. We took a selection of slides with us to support the sessions we ran, and all of these slides are here (but we only used some of them): Cumberland-lodge-writing-residential-17-18-january-2019-W.pptx (622 downloads)

We’ve been made most welcome by everyone, and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and hope to be back soon.
